Helping Business Recycle

A series of training workshops for councils and the waste and recycling collection industry is being delivered by the Waste Contractors & Recyclers Association of NSW (WCRA) and the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA). Participants will be introduced to Bin Trim, a new EPA program designed to assist businesses to waste less and save more. There will also be opportunity to talk with waste industry professionals and NSW EPA staff.

After attending the training session it is expected that participants will be able to:

  • Assist a business to do a visual waste assessment using Bin Trim
  • Assist a business to develop an action plan to reduce waste and increase recycling using Bin Trim
  • Support a business to introduce new recycling services including advice on equipment, services and staff engagement
  • Monitor and review progress being made by a business owner to reduce waste and increase recycling

Wednesday, 2nd October 2013 - Silverwater NSW
Friday, 1st November 2013 - West Gosford NSW
Friday, 15th November 2013 - Queanbeyan NSW
