South Australia Climate Leaders Awards are open for nominations
By Nicholas Scaltrito 9 August 2022
The Premier’s Climate Change Council is inviting entries to the South Australia Climate Leaders Awards, which will showcase the important work being done within the state of South Australia to find environmental and sustainable solutions to climate change.
Nominations are open to either individuals or groups across the areas of business and industry, community, government, and research and education. To be eligible, nominations should be initiatives that focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, climate change adaptation and resilience, or building awareness around sustainability. Held every two years, the awards are a great opportunity to provide examples of leadership and innovation in sustainability within the community, while also raising awareness about the practical steps being taken in response to climate change. Below are some guidelines for each category that may classify an individual or group for nomination. For further information about the entry criteria and eligibility, refer to the 2022 SA Climate Leaders Awards Guidelines.
