Fantastic file flingers of 2012

21-Nov-12

For National Recycling Week, fifty fabulous organisations held Friday File Flings to turn their unused files into a valuable resource - and to have some recycling fun! So far 27 workplaces have sent us their results and we're happy to report that over 7.7 tonnes of old files were recycled. This equates to saving:

  • enough energy to power a CFL bulb for 1,925 hours, or over 11 weeks
  • 182,490 L of water,
  • 3.1 tonnes of carbon emissions, and
  • over 24,871 L of landfill space!

Congratulations to Gladstone Regional Council on winning 15 bars of fair trade organic Cocolo chocolate for getting their results into us on time.

If you'd like to hold a Friday File Fling as a staff engagement opportunity, register with us and we'll hold your hand the entire way. Find out what we have to offer or if you can't wait, sign yourself up now and we'll send you everything you need.
