About
The Shire operates three Resource Recovery Centres (Tips) that accept a comprehensive range of household wastes. The centre at Rye also accepts commercial quantities of waste.Ratepayers receive three waste vouchers per annum with your rate notice. These vouchers can be used for free green and hard waste disposal. Vouchers can also be used for the disposal of mattresses and tyres.TVs, Computers & Accessories can be dropped off at the site for free as part of the National Computer and Television Recycling Scheme provided by Reverse e-waste.This is a Paintback site. No fee applies.Paintback is a cost-effective solution for households and trade painters to remove unwanted paint and packaging. This program is the first such national program in the world to be developed and voluntary run by the paint industry. More than a million litres of unwanted paint has been diverted from landfill in the first year. # 1300 390 380Ecycle Solutions offers a drop off service to recycle your unwanted computers, computer accessories and TVs. Please limit large items, such as TVs, to two items per visit. Smaller items such as laptops, keyboards, mice etc can be greater in quantity. Retail outlets have limited space, please call ahead to individual stores to check how many items can be accepted.

Accreditation: Ecycle Solutions is a Government approved Co-regulatory Arrangement under the National Television & Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS).
