Pick-up details: No contract, this service is conducted by volunteers and the money raised is given to our school. Pick up service for businesses in Dowerin. A drop off service is provided at the Dowerin Recycling Centre to cater for out of town farmers etc.

Additional information: Two Shire empolyees are about to be trained to take apart e-waste to minimise waste to landfill and utilise components.
The Shire of Dowerin has an Event Recycling Trailer which is available free of charge to all public and sporting events as well as wedding receptions. Previously, potential recyclables were taken to landfill. The average wedding generates 8 full 240 litre MGB's of bottles and aluminium cans and a wool bale full of compacted cardboard cartons.
