Service description: FareShare (formerly One Umbrella) provides free, tasty, nutritious meals to the hungry and the homeless using donated food not needed by markets, caterers, and retailers around Melbourne. It uses rescued food to cook over 2,000 free nutritious meals for charities every day.

Pick-up details: Mainly pick up in metro Melbourne but if you have a large donation please contact us as we are able to arrange transportation.
Additional information: We are happy to receive all sorts of food. This includes meat that has been ground too fine by a butcher; cheese; fruit and vegies that don’t look perfect but are perfectly edible. This includes food that is close to its ‘best before’ date, but it must be safe to consume. We do not accept food past its ‘use by’ date.
