Celebrating and showcasing compost innovation and soil improvement across NSW, the Australian Organics and Recycling Association (AORA) is holding the Annual Compost Awards Night dinner on Friday 5 July 2013. AORA works with the NSW government to raise awareness of the environmental and economic benefits of recycling organic resources across Australia.
The AORA Leadership Awards aim to showcase the range of applications, the development of specific products and the ways in which Local Government, landscapers and growers have used compost products to improve soil health. The Minister for Environment, the Hon. Robyn Parker will recognise outstanding entrants in each category and present a training award of $1,500 to the two winning councils.
