Now in its third year, the Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo (AWRE) held in Sydney is the most highly attended industry event. Over 1500 delegates from 16 countries registered last year for AWRE 2011. It is also the only trade show in Australia supported by the Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA).
AWRE (21-22 November) will this year feature the inaugural AWRE Innovation Awards. These Awards will celebrate those projects and products which, by striving to perform beyond what is considered achievable, stimulate growth and raise standards across the entire industry.
At the Alternative Waste Treatment Pavilion, technologies for various waste streams including mixed solid waste, clinical waste and source separated organics will be showcased. Technology providers and end users from around the world will tell attendees about the opportunities and risks of various technology solutions.
There will be a hall of Australian and international exhibitors showcasing equipment, recycled products, processing technologies, software, professional services, bins, trucks and sorting equipment. In addition, there will be plenty of networking opportunities, industry seminars, and workshops over the two days.
