Join 400,000 Australians who are putting secondhand first as part of of Australia’s biggest weekend of garage sales on October 19 and 20. You can host a sale or shop the Trail!
Now in its ninth year nationally, Garage Sale Trail continues to grow with over 16,000 garage sales and more than 2 million items listed for sale across one big weekend. The Trail is a reflection of how the small actions we make as individuals can make a big difference to the environment and our local community.
Anyone can be a seller - households, schools, community groups and even whole streets can get involved for free. It’s the perfect way to declutter during your Spring clean, make some money or fundraise for a cause, re-home useful stuff, live local and have fun.
And if you have stuff leftover after the event, remember to search RecyclingNearYou to find other reuse and recycling options in your area.
For shoppers it’s an awesome way to find treasure, connect with your community and promote reuse and sustainability. Put October 19 and 20 in your diary and be part of the nation’s biggest ever weekend of treasure hunting.
