With support from the NSW Environment Protection Authority, the Waste Contractors and Recyclers Association of NSW (WCRA) is offering training workshops, including a session at the Australasian Waste and Recycling Expo, to benefit waste management facility workers, waste and resource recovery educators and supervisors from across NSW.
The workshop content will cover issues such as:
Each participant will be provided with a Waste and Resource Recovery Facility Workers Manual for use in the workplace. This manual contains useful information on the above topics and material fact sheets addressing acceptance criteria, material handling and other relevant information for a range of materials.
Waste Management & Recycling Industry personnel who are responsible for operations, supervision, sales, procurement, compliance, resource recovery, waste education, collections, depot activities, weighbridge, facility workers within local government, charities and social enterprise and waste management and resource recovery facilities across NSW.
