Unwanted or broken machinery can be sold to second hand machinery traders. Machinery is refurbished and re-engineered for resale. This applies for single items and complete plants. If a machine cannot be refurbished then it can be deconstructed to recover useable parts rather than disposal to landfill or left to become obsolete.

Compressors
Compressors are large, heavy items which are costly to landfill. Instead they should be refurbished for resale, to reduce the demand for manufacturing new parts from raw materials. Most secondhand dealers will purchase unwanted compressors making it more cost effective than landfill.
Industrial Machinery
Industrial machinery can be reengineered, deconstructed for parts or recycled as scrap metal. This diverts large items from landfill and prevents machinery from becoming obsolete. Replacement machinery costs can be reduced by reselling unwanted machines.
