About
Recyclit is contracted to Gunnedah Shire Council to collect the kerbside recycling product. It also collects cardboard and glass from business houses and provides a secure and confidential shredding service. On site, product is separated and onsold for recycling purposes. Members of the public may drop off their recycling product at Recyclit along with car batteries and re-usable items for the Bowerbird Shop. The Bowerbird sells a range of items that are donated such as furniture, bric-a-brac, building material, electric appliances (in working order), toys etc. Recyclit also collect chemical drums for DrumMuster.

Pick-up available
Pick-up details: Recyclit collects cardboard or glass (by arrangement) from local businesses. DrumMuster collections must also be arranged by contacting the supervisor at Recyclit. Some large furniture items may be collected for the Bowerbird Shop as long as they are in good condition. An annual, free kerbside collection of car batteries is promoted in the local paper.
