Sustainability Victoria $600k Grant Funding for C & I Recycling
Author: Ryan Collins
Smarter Resources, Smarter Business: Recycling (SRSB: Recycling) will enable business and industry to better realise the value of recyclables currently going to landfill.
Sustainability Victoria (SV) is seeking expressions of interest from organisations wishing to participate in the SRSB: Recycling.
This $600,000 fund will support initiatives that improve waste separation and increase recycling in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. Funding will be provided for infrastructure, training and education to deliver the following outcomes:
- greater separation of recyclable materials on site at Victorian multi-tenanted C&I sites or multi-premises businesses
- consolidation of recyclable materials at central or common aggregation points
- replicable business models, technologies and/or recovery processes that provide a framework for improved material separation throughout Victoria.
Expressions of Interest will fall into two categories: Multi-tenant projects, or Multi-premises/precinct based projects.
Should applicants have other project proposals that differ from these categories but fulfil the objectives of SRSB: Recycling, SV is interested in discussing these proposals with potential applicants.
All EOIs must be submitted before 3pm, Friday 11 October 2013.
