The 12 Do's of Christmas

03-Oct-12

Businesses like Colonial First State and Officeworks and councils from Parramatta to East Fremantle have taken up Planet Ark’s gift of a free, branded version of the popular 12 Do’s of Christmas. The 12 Do’s is a great tool to engage either colleagues or customers over the busy (and often wasteful) Christmas period.

The Christmas, New Year and holiday period is the time when Australians eat more, buy more and celebrate more than at any other time, which means our impact on the environment is greater. So Planet Ark is releasing a new version of our popular 12 Do's of Christmas guide. It's a fun and easy way to engage colleagues over this busy period.

The 12 Do's of Christmas asks readers to commit to reducing their impact on the environment - and on their wallets - through the festive season by taking small actions like buying recyclable wrapping paper or rechargeable batteries, reducing food waste, and giving presents they know their loved ones will use.

As a GreenWorks subscriber, we're offering you the opportunity tailor an edition of the 12 Do’s with your logo and URL. In return for tailoring the resource we ask that you stick to a few simple conditions like keeping the artwork the same, letting us know what you’re doing and not sending it out before the 3rd December. See the Proposal document for the full terms.

The guide will be supported by a website with one page for each of the 12 Do's and a social media campaign. If you would like a tailored version, drop us a line at recycling@planetark.org and we'll get back to you.
