Service description: BottleCycler Glass Management is a complete waste glass management and recycling service. The unit provided is compact and quietly crushes your glass bottles by 80%, saving space, time, money and reduces noise. The crushed glass is collected and delivered to be recycled to make new glass. BottleCycler is available as a full service package at a fixed cost which includes glass collection, full machine maintenance, servicing and recycling of the glass.
Environmental reporting can be provided monthly or quarterly to corporate clients, illustrating the quantity of glass recycled, diverted from landfill and kg of carbon emissions saved by using BottleCycler, assisting venues to achieve their carbon reduction objectives.

The fee for the service is based upon the quantity of glass crushed/number of bins filled by the venue. This can be determined after a two month free trial which gauges the average amount of waste glass produced by the venue each week. Full service packages at a fixed cost can be agreed as part of a contract.
Pick-up details: Venues trialling the service or with a contract can enjoy the glass collection service, which picks up bins directly from the venue/client. The frequency of collection is a minimum of weekly but is determined by the quantity of glass crushed and number of bins filled per week. Collection service is currently available in and around the metropolitan areas of Sydney, Central Coast (NSW), Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth. These areas are continually being extended with growth in demand for the service.

Additional information: CO2 Reporting for Corporates: as part of the service to clients and to assist them with the monitoring of their carbon emissions, we are able to produce quarterly or monthly reports detailing a venues environmental impact and savings. The report includes:
1 number of bins collected per month
2 kgs of glass collected
3 kgs of carbon dioxide saved
4 comparisons with same time last year
This information assists firms in monitoring their performance against objectives.
In the manufacture of new glass, signifcant energy savings are made by using recycled glass as the heat required by the glass manufacturer is less than that which is required when purely raw materials are used in the process.
We offer CO2 reporting as part of a corporate contract (minimum 5 venues) .
